Lilly Singh says there are two types of people who rise when something horrible happens in the world.
“Number one: people who don’t let fear divide them and instead choose to come together." And "Number two: racist idiots who don’t deserve an internet connection.”
Singh, a Canadian entertainer of Indian descent, received a ‘racist’ comment on her YouTube post from an ‘internet troll’ asking her to “go bak to ur country, you terrorist paki afghan indian muslim slut #MkeAmericGreatAgain”.
“Now I don’t mean to discourage Merrick,” she says. “He seems like a great guy. But your stupidity bothers me.”
Now, she had to teach the commenter a thing or two about ‘paki afghan indian muslim’.“Here’s the thing, I don’t like when people are bad at things. If you are going to be racist, at least do it right.”

So, Singh, in a viral video, decided to take all the American trolls to a collective ‘Geography class for racist people’ right to the Indian subcontinent.
“Please note that we are not going to fly through the Bermuda Triangle because things mysteriously disappear there. In fact, that’s probably where your education went.”
Standing in front of a map of the world, she first demystifies "Paki Afghan Indian" and unravels the truth that they are three different countries and not one. “You silly American Aussie Brit."
Warning: coarse language
In the video, which has gone viral, raking in over four million views in less than a week, Singh also seeks to break down stereotypes about the Muslims.
“Although there are approximately 175 million Muslims in India, there are approximately two billion in the whole world,” she says.
“Which means if every Muslim was a terrorist, you wouldn’t stand a goddam chance.”
And, before the end of the class, she comes right back to where it all began - "going back to her country."
“To be honest, whether I went back to my country of Pakistan, India or even Canada, I don’t see how that would benefit you since my tax bracket help pay for your kids’ education."
