Virat Kohli is said to be one of the most marketable athletes in the world. With every performance on the cricket field, Virat's brand value keeps soaring.

Due to the consistency Kohli has shown with his bat during the recent yeas, he has been able to script many records in the game of cricket.

With that, Kohli's paycheck has also added a few digits.

The Delhi lad is currently the second highest earner in the Indian cricket team from endorsements, only behind captain MS Dhoni.

Kohli commands more money for his on-field endorsements than MS Dhoni. According to reports, while Dhoni is paid approximately AUD 1.4 million for having a Spartan sticker on his bat, Kohli rakes-in AUD 1.6 million from MRF.

Virat also gets paid AUD 400,000 for brand endorsements on his cap, t-shirt and shoes when he plays. Other teammates, including the skipper, command far less than Kohli does.

But Captain Dhoni is still the numero uno when it comes to television commercials and other brand endorsements. He earns AUD 1.6 million from this, while Kohli gets around AUD 1 million. Yuvraj Singh is still at number three, pocketing AUD 800,000 from his on-field endorsements.

Behind Yuvraj are Indian openers, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma who pocket approximately AUD 500,000 apiece.
