Harmanpreet Kaur charged with breach of Code of Conduct

Cricket Australia issued a media release today advising that Sydney Thunder’s Harmanpreet Kaur has been charged for breaching the CA Code of Conduct on 16th January 2017 in her side’s WBBL match against the Hobart Hurricanes at Blundstone Arena, Hobart.

Harmanpreet Kaur was reported for breaching CA’s Code of Conduct Article 2.1.2 which is the abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fitting during a match. This is a level 1 offence which occurred during the Thunder’s batting innings after Kaur was dismissed.
As per the CA Code of Conduct procedure, the Match Referee, Roy Loh, considered the umpire’s written report, and the proposed sanction was a reprimand.

Harmanpreet Kaur has accepted the sanction and no hearing was required.
