SBS Portuguese learned this Sunday that two 34 year-old Brazilians, who don't want to be identified at the moment, tested positive for coronavirus here in Australia.
One of them, an Australian citizen, lives in Hobart, Tasmania, and was back from a trip to Brazil three weeks ago.
She said she never imagined that she could be in a risk group and is now recovering, after having very strong symptoms, and still feeling very debilitated.
She tested positive after being back to Australia.
The other woman, a student in Sydney who lives with seven other people in an apartment, said she did not have many symptoms, but that she felt a lot of pain in her body and that she lost her taste and smell - symptoms that have been most recently mentioned in coronavirus cases.
She was then allowed to take the test and the result was positive.
Both are 34 years old and said that before they knew they were infected, in the same week they tested positive, they were working, attending parties and using public transport.
SBS Portuguese is looking further on these cases.
