Both Indigenous and non-Indigenous educators attend Jessica Staines’ Koori Curriculum consultations to learn how to include First Nation’s culture into their curricula.

The educators may have different needs and cater to different age groups from infants to primary school-aged children, but they are all able to receive support and be empowered by Koori Curriculum to celebrate and include First Nations perspectives in their curricula.

Founder of the multiple award-winning , Wiradjuri woman, Jessica Steines, discussed how the Koori Curriculum has been empowering educators, what support they can access to include First Nations culture and how parents could assess whether their particular childcare provider was culturally appropriate.

In an interview for NITV Radio, Jessica also talks about the Koori Curriculum Educator Awards winners announced last week.
