Sydney Festival is currently running its inaugural First Nations program Blak Out.

Blak Out is curated by Jacob Nash, Sydney Festival’s Creative Artist in Residence. Over the three-week program a variety of First Nations Artists showcase their work, from dance and theatre to visual arts and installation.

In the four-year lead up to curating the program, Jacob Nash explored the deeper conversations on Caring for Country and looking after one-another as a collective First Nations community.

Blak out runs in Sydney until the 25th January 2025.
