Dr Donald Allan Gilmour is one of the Medal of the Order of Australia (General Division) recipients in the 2023 King's Birthday Honours. The Queensland professor who has spent more than six decades in forestry, led the Nepal Australia Forestry Project in Nepal for 10 years since 1981. Dr Gilmour shares his experience of working in Nepal during the 80s.
