Cats of Malta the feature-length documentary is coming in 2022. Producer and director Sarah Jayne speaks with Joe Axiaq about how after she and her husband relocated to Malta from Australia in 2017, they noticed the island’s large stray cat population. Already cat lovers, their curiosity about the strays grew, lead to the idea of making a documentary about Maltese cat culture.
