Jovanka Smilevska: I will advocate for the establishment of Macedonian studies at university level in Melbourne

Jovanka Smilevska is the newly elected president of the Macedonian Teacher’s Association of Victoria. She brings to the position new energy and enthusiasm for the promotion of the Macedonian language in Australia, as well as 20 years’ experience as a teacher. According to her vision, new programs for the Macedonian language are to be open in regular bilingual schools and Victorian School of Languages Centres. Her plans include advocating for the launch of Macedonian studies at university level in Melbourne.
