Journalists or journalists are supposed to be neutral in politics, because the media must provide objective, independent and impartial reports or news. However, in Indonesia, there has been a phenomenon since recent years, where a journalist or journalist has instead become a legislative candidate or a candidate for a member of Parliament or Parliament.


There are also many journalists in Indonesia, especially in the regions, who openly become party managers at the same time, or are part of a politician's successful team.

The phenomenon is happening again in this 2024 election.
