One of the Indonesian films screened at the 2023 Adelaide Film Festival, Monisme: is an experimental non-fiction portrait of the ecosystem of human-nature relationship in Mount Merapi in Java.


Dilail Abimanyu from SBS Indonesian spoke to the filmmaker, Riar Rizal about the film making process, the challenges in production, and what message he wanted to share with the audience.
