Healthy environment and active life can ward off some health issues

Several health problems will continue to haunt us in the new year 2025, if we continue to apply the business as usual approach. Apart from the issue of vaccination, which is not only for COVID and flu, governments around the world also need to curb the increase in non-communicable diseases.


According to Dr dr Dicky Budiman, an epidemiologist and a researcher in Global Health Security and has affiliation with University Yarsi in Indonesia and Griffith University in Australia, a comprehensive approach in preventing potential health problems is required. He explained to SBS Indonesian that apart from reminding people of the need of vaccinations and boosters, raising awareness of the danger of sedentary life are important.
