In its second year being held offline after being absent due to the COVID pandemic, the Indonesian Night Market was successfully held by the University of New South Wales' Indonesian Students Association of Australia (PPIA) on Friday.
The campus' Globe Lawn, which was packed with attendees, witnessed the success of the event which not only presented a series of Indonesian menus but also cultural performances.
Speaking to SBS Indonesian, the Indonesian Consul General for NSW, Queensland and South Australia Vedi Kurnia Buana said that with so many non-Indonesian visitors coming out, this event had a tremendous multiplier impact.

"I also said that they are ambassadors of the nation to promote food products, culture, customs, and so on."
Comments were also made by some of the visitors on the night, such as Nurman who's originally from Perth and Sydneysider Yoyok who came with his son, Alvan.
