When he had the opportunity to work together with and learn directly from the famous Indonesian jazz musician Indra Lesmana, Ivan Paulus admitted that it was an invaluable experience for him.
His acquaintance with Indra Lesmana at the end of last year led to the release of two singles from their collaboration in 2024 — Penantian in June and Goodness of God in December which also to celebrate Christmas and the wedding anniversary of Ivan and his wife, Shirley Lim.
The businessman and saxophonist told SBS Indonesian how he paved the way, got acquainted with famous Indonesian musicians, and finally got the opportunity to work with them.
