Batik Girl targets 10,000 dolls for children in ASEAN

Lusia Efriani Kiroyan, founder of Cinderella from Indonesia Centre (CFIC), empowers 100 female inmates at Batam and Bali penitentiaries to make dolls with dresses made of used batik fabrics, named Batik Girl.

Before Batik Girl, Lusia had taught female inmates to make cupcakes and ice so then they were able to earn money from that. The Indonesian social entrepreneur is doing road shows in an attempt to donate 10,000 Batik Girls for children in needs in ASEAN.
