Crime rate has spiked in Victoria in last year by 10% and now figures by show that atleast one in 68 homes in Victoria was burgled in 2015-16.
And they have pointed out one postcode in Melbourne where the average is way higher.
While Airly in Southeast Victoria recorded worst burglary rate of one in 11 homes being robbed, Cardinia, Clyde and Clyde North in Melbourne’s southeast with postcode 3978 recorded worst burglary rate of the year in Melbourne with one in 19 homes being struck by robbers.
Other suburbs who made it to the top 20 list were Rockbank (one in 20 homes), Wollert (one in 21), Frankston North (one in 26), Officer (one in 28) and Heidelberg Heights (one in 30).
