Over the past weekend, Tasmania celebrated 'Diwali 2024', one of the largest-ever events in Hobart, bringing together community members, migrant officers, diplomats, and politicians. Stakeholders emphasised the need for greater representation and social cohesion in Tasmania, one of Australia’s least multicultural states. This Diwali festival showcased a growing acceptance of diversity, uniting Tasmanians in support of a more inclusive future.
