The fourth edition of Mahatma Peace Symposium, held at the New South Wales Parliament to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi's 155th birth anniversary, saw the launch of the 'Super Naari' initiative by the Saroni Roy Foundation. This program aims to address period poverty and improve access to menstrual hygiene products for women. Attended by ministers, community leaders, and NGOs, state's Minister for Women Jodie Harrison praised the initiative as aligning with Gandhi’s teachings of empowerment and equality.
