Since arriving at the University of Sydney in June 2024, Tripti has been adapting to a new educational system that focuses on practical learning and global engagement. She hopes to thrive in this diverse setting and apply the knowledge and skills she is gaining to a future career in public relations.

Tripti Singh, a recent recipient of the Sydney International Equity Scholarship from the University of Sydney, recounts her inspiring journey from the slums of Delhi to studying at one of Australia's top universities. This scholarship, designed for postgraduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds worldwide, is awarded in partnership with the Indian charity Asha Community Health and Development Society. Currently pursuing a Master of Strategic Public Relations, Tripti views this initiative as a 'revolution' that empowers young people who might otherwise abandon their dreams due to financial constraints.
