As Australia reviews its cyber laws and social media moderation policies, SBS Hindi speaks with Nadeem Ahmed, founder of the popular Facebook group "Indians In Sydney," which boasts 135,000 members. Ahmed discusses how his role as a moderator has changed over time, what drives him, and how his team handles online scammers. Recently recognised as NSW Volunteer of the Year, Ahmed’s community influence was further highlighted when his India Day event received support from the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
