22 new occupations added to Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL)

Chefs, civil engineers and software programmers are among skilled occupations that will have their visa applications prioritised by the Australian government.

• 22 job occupations added to the Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL) designed to lure critical workers into the country. 
• Chefs, civil engineers and software programmers are among those now in line to have their visas prioritised for processing.   
• Immigration Minister Alex Hawke said the eligible workers were considered job multipliers that would aid Australia's ongoing recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
