The recent Australian tour proved an unforgettable and historic one for India's cricket team, as well as Indian pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who claimed joint-highest 21 wickets in the series, including a match-winning performance at the MCG.
Not only has he impressed the Australian cricket community with his extraordinary bowling performance, but he has apparently also inspired the next generation of cricketers, who now seek to copy his unique bowling action.
This week a video of an Australian child imitating Jasprit Bumrah's bowling action has gone viral on social media after it was uploaded to Twitter.
In the video, the young boy can be seen bowling in a backyard, with a short run-up, somewhat similar to Jasprit Bumrah's style, and a similar bowling style. However, the boy falls to the ground after the final delivery stride. The user who uploaded the video to Twitter tweeted: "The only problem from your great series win may be the next generation of Aussie cricketers you have inspired!"

Cricket expert Harsha Bhogle and Jasprit Bumrah were also tagged in the tweet.
The video didn't take a long time to circulate on the platform and was noticed by the International Cricket Council and other users including Jasprit Bumrah.
Bumrah, the 25-year-old right arm fast bowler, reacted and retweeted the video: "The kid is so cute. Give him my best wishes."
This is not the first time that a young child has copied Bumrah's distinctive bowling action. Recently, a child in Pakistan was also seen in a video imitating his bowling action.
Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the upcoming limited over series against Australia and New Zealand after bowling the most number of balls by a fast bowler in the series.
