Poached plums
Ingredients
500 g plums
1 tbs honey
1 orange - juice and zest
1 cup water
1 cinnamon stick

Method
Halve the plums and remove the stones. Place orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon stick, honey and water in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Add the plums and simmer for 5 minutes or until just soft. Remove plums and set aside. Turn up the heat and the boil the poaching liquid until reduced by half or thickened to make a sauce. Pour sauce over the plums. Cool and refrigerate until needed.
Plums can be served with ice cream, rice pudding, yoghurt or with muesli.
