Mourners have gathered in Israel for funerals and memorial services for six Israeli hostages who were killed in Gaza on Saturday. As a result, there were massive protests and strikes. The demonstrators called for a ceasefire to allow the remaining hostages to return. Meanwhile, military operations continue in the occupied West Bank and the United Nations has begun a polio vaccination campaign in the Gaza Strip.
