- Devices: You can use any electronic device with a camera, such as a mobile phone, PC, laptop, or tablet connected to the internet.
- Browsers: Any browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc., can be used.
Eligibility
- You must be a Registered Overseas Voter. (Voter registration closed on September 30, 2024.)
- Your location must fall within the 77 approved Embassies and Consulates. The full list is available on the COMELEC website.
Enrollment Process
- Sign-Up or Pre-Enrollment: Starting March 10, you can pre-enroll for internet voting. A link will be posted on the official websites of COMELEC and DFA.
- Required Information: You’ll need your valid ID, email address, and contact details.
- Verification:
- Ensure the details on the form match the National Registry of Overseas Voters.
- After completing the online form, you’ll receive a 6-digit One-Time Passcode (OTP) via email to verify your enrollment.
- You’ll also need to take a photo of yourself and your ID using your device.
- Reminder from COMELEC: Ensure that your ID or passport used for enrollment is not expired.
Once verified, you will receive an email with a link to access the Voting Portal, the official page for casting your vote.
Voting Guidelines
- All registered overseas voters are encouraged to vote online.
- Priority for voting at embassy and consulate kiosks will be given to seniors, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and those requiring assistance with reading and writing.
Important Dates
- Online Voting Test Period: March 10 to April 12, 2025. This allows voters to practice and test the website.
- Official Voting Period: April 13 to May 12, 2025.
