Bowel cancer screening in Australia

*Update* The Australian government has lowered the eligibility for free bowel cancer screening from 50 to 45 years. Starting 1 July 2024, those aged 45 to 49 can join the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program and request their free kit by calling 1800 627 701.
