Maker Mading Mabeny is ACT-based ‘sociologist and counsellor’ volunteered in the South Sudanese community association for years. Maker founded SOSA Youth Rehabilitation Services because he sees this as the only option available to young people.

Maker said this counselling service could be of great help to both parents and the children.

“I recently in response to our young people who are the crisis of drug and alcohol abuse, I started Rehabilitation services business to help our young people overcome an addiction to drugs of any kind. I have worked with three clients who are now healed so far from drugs and alcohol addictions with great success. I am a sociologist and counsellor; rehabilitation service is the only way to safe our young people from going to jail for drug and alcohol-related incidents.”
