本周五（1月11日）澳网赛前新闻发布会上，三度大满贯冠军得主安迪·穆雷（Andy Murray）透露，这可能是他最后一次参赛。
这名英国网球选手泪洒发布会后短暂离场，回到现场后坦称，“过去的20个月里，我髋部伤疼痛难忍”，“现在的状态比六个月前好一些，但依然很煎熬”。
当被记者问到这是否会是其最后一次比赛时，穆雷表示“确有可能”，他不确定在疼痛之下自己是否还能打满四五个月。

穆雷曾达到过世界第一的职业巅峰，拿下3座大满贯奖杯、2块奥运金牌、45座世界巡回赛冠军，但自2017年起被伤病困扰，世界排名下滑至第230位。
下周，穆雷将在澳网第一轮迎战阿古特（Roberto Bautista Agut）。
