Ingredients
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1½ tsp sesame oil
- 400 g noodles
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g lean beef mince
- 250 g green beans, trimmed and halved
- 1 bunch choy sum, trimmed, cut to 10 cm lengths
- 4 spring onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, to serve
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar and sesame oil and set aside.
- Cook the noodles according to the package directions.
- While the noodles are cooking, heat the olive oil in a wok or large frying pan. Add the beef mince and cook, breaking up any lumps, until browned.
- Scoop the noodles out of the boiling water and transfer to the pan with the browned beef, or reserve if the beef requires more cooking and add when browned.
- Add the green beans and choy sum to the noodle water and simmer until the beans are slightly softened, then drain and add to the wok with the beef and noodles.
- Pour the stir-fry sauce into the wok and stir until well combined. Serve the sesame beef stir-fry with the sliced spring onion and sesame seeds.
