Ingredients
- 4 slices thick white bread, halved
- 250 g (2 cups) grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 green capsicum, cut into thin rounds
- 1 stick cabanossi, thinly sliced
- 25 g (¼ cup) grated parmesan cheese
- basil leaves, to serve
Pizza toast sauce
- 250 ml (1 cup) tomato passata
- 60 ml (¼ cup) tomato sauce
- salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven grill to high. Mix the sauce ingredients together, then spread over each slice of bread, right to the edges. Top with the mozzarella, the top with the capsicum and cabanossi.
- Place under the grill and cook until the cheese is bubbling. Scatter with grated parmesan cheese and basil and serve.
