Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 200 g mushrooms, chopped
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 1 cup beef stock
- Thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a medium frypan over medium heat. Add mushrooms and brown for 3-4 minutes and then remove and set aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp of butter in the same pan and whisk in flour and stir continuously for 60 secs to make sure it doesn’t stick or burn. While whisking, pour in the beef stock and cook for 3 minutes, or until thickened. Toss in your mushies, thyme, and salt and pepper to taste.
