Ingredients
- 4 beef patties
- 4 bacon slices
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4–8 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns, split
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices tomato, sliced
- 4 pickles, sliced
- 2 tbsp mustard
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Preheat a barbecue grill on medium heat. Cook beef patties for 10–15 minutes, turning once. Cook bacon for 5 minutes, turning once. Cook onion for 5–10 minutes, stirring.
- Place cheese slices on burger patties and cook for 1 minute, or until melted.
- Toast burger buns on grill for 1–2 minutes, or until light golden.
- Stack patties, bacon, onion on burger bun bases. Top with lettuce, tomato and pickles. Add mustard and mayonnaise. Top with bun lids. Serve.
