Ingredients
- 100 ml full-cream milk
- 200 ml condensed milk
- 3 eggs
- pinch sea salt
- pinch cinnamon
- 2 tsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp grapeseed oil
- 8 slices day-old sourdough bread, crusts removed
- 2 bananas, sliced thinly lengthways
- 60 g good-quality milk chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Use a whisk to combine the milk, condensed milk, eggs, salt and cinnamon in a bowl before transferring to a shallow dish.
2. Place the butter and oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
3. Dip each slice of bread into the condensed milk mixture and place it into the frying pan. Cook both sides until golden brown.
4. Arrange a layer of sliced bananas on one piece of bread, then sprinkle with chocolate chips. Place the second slice of bread on top like a sandwich and serve while hot.
