Ingredients
- 400 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 8 slices challah (braided bread)
- Clarified butter (ghee), to cook
- Icing sugar,
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the milk, eggs and sugar.
2. Dunk the slices of challah in the mixture and fry in a little hot clarified butter on each side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Dust with icing sugar to serve.
