Pie is good any day of the year, but today pie lovers have extra reason to serve up a piece - or three and a bit - slices of pie.
Pi, or “π”, is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Since the value is approximately 3.142, we think it only right that everyone should feel free to eat 3.142 slices of pie today, because March 14 is international .
