Cooking a steak can be a fine art.

Expect the steak of all steaks to grace our screens for Italian week on - . This T-bone cut steak can typically weigh between 800 grams - 1.2 kilos and once cooked, season it with a little salt, pepper and olive oil. 

You focus on the steak, we've got your sides sorted, with these Italian-inspired recipes, salads, veggies, crisp cauliflower and of course, polenta! At this rate, you'll be eating the sides before the steak, they're that good.
No cooking required, this no-fuss combines tomato, basil and slices of ciabatta or panini.

Don't be deterred by the possibilities that cabbage presents. This salad gives a nice chilli flavour that balances well with the freshness and crispness of the cabbage and it's all in the perfect seasoning to make this salad a memorable one.

Chickpea flour has an excellent toasty flavour that works well in this recipe, the olives give it a burst of saltiness, and the smell and savouriness of caraway always works wonders. This side will quickly turn into an antipasto to snacking plate in no time.

Salsa verde literally translates to "green sauce". This gives you great scope to mix any combination of herbs, parsley, mint, chives, depending on what tickles your fancy.
