Krispy Kreme fans, get excited. Just when you thought a Krispy Kreme doughnut couldn’t get any better, the Japanese arm of the multi-million dollar treat-maker has come up with a genius idea.
Packing their original glaze full of ice cream.
The sugar-laden concoction stars two scoops of raspberry and vanilla ice-cream at either end with plenty of frozen berries jammed inbetween.
The Krispy Kool Sandwich, as it’s called, is being unveiled in all its kilojoule-heavy glory on April 13, but unfortunately for Aussie customers, it will only be available in Japan.
In the meantime local doughnut aficionados can take solace in the company’s equally icy sundaes that come in caramel crumble, chocolate cookie or strawberry sprinkle.
